The lala1000 Core engine manages, controls and connects media content sources and media players. This software application runs on enterprise-grade open source software foundation, including Linux and Java can run on a low-cost Sub-1GHz processor and support six zones.

It was developed using the same methodology and best practices that drive many top-tier, mission-critical, enterprise-class applications today. It is unique in terms of its scalability, performance, and reliability.

The XML API allows customization of variety of rich user interfaces from for PC and PDA browsers and the drivers ensure connectivity and compatibility with the popular media players, media content and playing formats.

The lalaCore media computer is designed as an embedded solution for media network products
It is a proprietary single-board computer powered by the 32 bit Cirrus Logic EP93XX ARM-9 CPU family. It really takes the conventional design of audio products into the digital era, bringing Internet connectivity to thousands of media streams such as Internet radio stations and on-line media content services. The lalaCore handles a wide variety of recording and DRM formats (MP3, WMA, AAC, Real and other).
The modular architecture and rich APIs allows customization into variety of media products and applications and provides a significant time-to-market advantage, reducing development time, cost and risk.

The lalaPlayer is a network radio that plays media stored on MP3 portable devices, music from your lala1000 server (or other media servers) or PC and content from the internet such Internet radio stations or music from private or commercial content providers (RadioTime, Shoutcast, Rhapsody and more).

The lalaDock is a low cost solution that turns portable media players into a UPnP server.
